Three Generations in Martin's Mill

My family has called Martin's Mill home for three generations. My mom grew up here and graduated from the school. In her later years, she and my dad moved back here and lived out their senior years in the community. Many know my mom from her work on the History Wall at the store. This school and this community shaped me and my family (grandmother, parents and sister, aunts, uncles and cousins), and I want to help them keep doing that for the young people coming up now.

Why I Am Running for the School Board

I didn't set out to run. Local individuals and families I've known and respected for years encouraged me to step up. To say I am honored and humbled is an understatement. My desire is to honor them and their trust in me by serving the school and community in anyway I can be useful.
